Daniel 2:20-22 - Daniel answered, Blessed be the name of God forever and ever; for wisdom and might are his. He changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings, and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who have understanding; he reveals the deep and secret things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.

Daniel 2:44 - In the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall its sovereignty be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

Summary

Daniel preached in Babylon 605 - 536 BC. Bridging the entire 70-year exile in Babylonian captivity, speaking for God to the gentile and Jewish world to declare God's present and eternal purpose. He uses dreams and visions to show God's guidance, intervention, and power in the affairs of men.
