Summary
Galatians centres on the conflict between grace and works in attaining salvation. In doing so, Paul writes about the Christian having faith in Jesus' work on the cross as the only means of salvation, rather than being held as a slave to the Law. He defends the gospel of grace, explains it and then applies it to the Christian walk by saying it is the believer's responsibility to serve one another.
